Nature Awareness Classes

nature-classes-model1

One Skill at a time, like the layers of the Earth we can grow awareness of ourselves and our surroundings as if made of the same thing.  The greater our awareness the less we hesitate, the more we fully live our potential.

These one or two (1/2) day classes are designed to give everyone the opportunity to learn regardless of experience or ability in the woods, this is where the trail begins, so to speak.  Everyone has something to learn at these fun and dynamic classes, even though they could be taught at the college level.  They are held locally in Caledon, at the Sticks and Stones Workshop in the beautiful Hills of Headwaters, Ontario.

Each class has a focus, rooted deep from within the core curriculum of Sticks and Stone’s wilderness education and as such helps participants grow an integrated and well rounded foundation of naturalist skills.  These skills open the doors to the vastness and simplicity of nature and learning naturally so to speak, helping you learn to truly appreciate your relationship with the natural world.

These classes provide the core ecological skills that help bridge the gap between urban and natural awareness.
