We live and teach in a forested community that has a uniquely diverse natural history.  On retired farm land that was unsuitable for large scale commercial agriculture we have found the perfect place to implement stewardship and restore nature’s place.  The ability for us to grow our own food in small, diverse permaculture garden plots while researching and training in the ways of wild amongst some of the lushest ecosystems left in the world is truly an honor that we are deeply thankful for.

    Our workshop, office, and home resides in the heart of the Beaver Valley, just north of Kimberley, Ontario.

     Being just over an hour’s drive from Toronto, we can arrange shuttle services with students flying in and out of Pearson International Airport.
